“THE BET ON BLACK” SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 

ELIGIBILIY: The Bet on Black Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins on 10/10/05 and ends on 11/30/05. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, age 13 and older at time of entry. The Sweepstakes and any web site pages and advertisements relating thereto, are intended for viewing only within the 50 United States and District of Columbia. Employees and agents of the Sponsor and their respective affiliates, subsidiary, and parent companies, and advertising and promotions agencies ("Promotion Parties") and their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings and their children) are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. 

HOW TO ENTER: There are two ways to enter: Method #1: Call 888-ROB-1018 and leave your name, address and daytime telephone number anytime during the sweepstakes entry period. Limit: One phone entry per phone number. Telephone entries are deemed to be made by authorized account number holder submitted at time of entry.
Method #2:  Visit www.THEBLACKROBREPORT.COM  and follow all instructions to complete and submit the online entry form.  Online entries must be received between 12:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET") on 10/10/05 and 11:59 PM (ET) on 11/30/05. Online entrants subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to privacy policy. Limit: One online entry per person or email address. Although subsequent attempts to enter may be received, only the first entry received from a particular individual email account will be eligible; subsequent attempts to enter in a given day will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. Authorized Account Holder means the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. All entries and requests become Sponsor’s property and will not be returned or acknowledged. 

One (1) Grand Prize: 3 days/2 nights trip for two (2) people to Las Vegas, NV (ARV: $4,500.00). Actual value of trip depends on location of winner and fares at time of departure. If actual value of Prize turns out to be less than the stated ARV, then the difference will not be awarded in cash. Prize consists of round-trip coach airfare (via air carrier selected by Sponsor) to/from a major commercial airport nearest winner's primary residence, 2 nights double occupancy hotel accommodations in a standard room (at hotel selected by Sponsor), airport transfers while in Las Vegas, Nevada, plus $1,000.00 spending money. All meals, ground transportation (other than as noted), taxes, gratuities, incidentals, service charges or other expenses not specified herein are not included and are the winner’s sole responsibility. Winner and guest must travel together on dates specified by the Sponsor or forfeit all rights to prize. Blackout dates and restrictions apply. If, for any reason whatsoever, the winner or guest is unable to travel after all travel arrangements are made and paid, then the Promotion Parties shall have no further obligation to the winner and/or guest. If Prize is forfeited prior to travel arrangements are made or if the selected winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason whatsoever, and there is sufficient time to notify an alternate winner (at the sole determination of the Sponsor), the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing from among all non-winning eligible entries. Winner and guest are solely responsible for obtaining the proper travel documentation (e.g., valid photo ID) prior to travel. Winner’s guest will be required to execute and return a Liability/Publicity Release prior to travel. If winner is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must accompany minor on the trip.

ODDS: Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.

WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION: Potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received.  Random drawing will be conducted on or about 12/9/05 under supervision of an independent judging organization whose decisions are final. Potential winner will be notified by mail and will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and a Publicity Release (where permissible) within 7 days of date specified on notification, or an alternate winner will be selected.  If Affidavit is returned as undeliverable, it will result in disqualification, and the Prize will be awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing. If winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in his or her state of primary residence, the prize will be awarded in the name of winner's parent or legal guardian who will be required to execute required documents on minor’s behalf. Prize awarded within 30 days after receipt of Affidavit. Prize is not redeemable for cash. Winner may not substitute or transfer Prize.  Sponsor reserves the right to substitute Prize with one of equal or greater value in the event the offered Prize is unavailable. Winner is responsible for all federal, state, local and income taxes associated with winning the Prize. Entry and acceptance of Prize constitute permission to use winner's name, prize won, hometown and likeness for online posting and promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. Prize is guaranteed to be awarded.

GENERAL: No groups, clubs or organizations may participate in this Sweepstakes or reproduce or distribute any portion of these Official Rules to its members. All persons, by participating in this Sweepstakes agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and independent judging organization shall be final and binding.

Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices or mechanically reproduced are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged or illegible entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the telephone carriers, Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor and the independent judging organization, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.  Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes.  Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any Sweepstakes it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) withdraw the online method of entry if it becomes technically corrupted, (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Sweepstakes), and to select the winner from among all eligible entries received prior to withdrawal.

Legal Warning: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN individual, whether or not an ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, destroy, tamper or vandalize this WEB SITE OR interfere with the OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS and SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES and diligently pursue all remedies against ANY SUCH individual TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
